It seems like just a couple of days ago that you had indicated she was doing reasonably well. I know from my own parents' case that when they have been together for so long and one passes it is very difficult for the remaining one. I will remember her in her new relationship and keep you in my prayers as well. You can feel good about the time you spent with your mom and your dad in their last years. I am sure that they held you as a very special and loving son. Sorry for your loss. Your brother in Christ, Dick From: "Elizabeth Kostichka" To: Peter@PivotRock.net Subject: RE: my mom Date: Wed, 11 Apr 2007 17:22:29 -0500 Hello Peter, Sorry to hear about your mom. We will keep her and you on our prayers. I know this is hard for you, but I also know that you can imagine her...the joy that she is experiencing now theat she is reunited again with your dad...and the most wonderful thing...getting to know Our Lord. That thought was what helped me when my mom passed away. My oldest sister died when she was 22 years old, she was married and left behind a 6 month old daughter. This was 28 years ago. However she was very close to my mom, and it was very hard for my mom when my sister died. The only thing that I could think of when my mom passed away was imagining my sister waiting for my mom with open arms and both giving each other hughs, kisses and being together again. My mom also had a very strong faith, so the thought of her getting to know Our Lord, seeing him face to face...I know it must of being an amazing experience for her. Although I missed her tremendously, I feel her very close to me all the time. I am sure you have had the same feeling with your dad and will have it now with your mom. Well, I just wanted to share some feelings... Please know that my thoughts are with you. With my deepest sympathy, Date: Wed, 11 Apr 2007 06:51:23 -0700 (PDT) From: ellencalkins@sbcglobal.net Subject: Re: my mom To: Peter Cardinal Hello Peter, Travis shared this with me last night.
